Norway weather is fairly moderate, considering that the country shares the same latitude as Alaska, Greenland and Siberia. The summers are quite dry with hardly any humidity. The warmest Norway weather occurs between late June and August, when the temperatures can reach 25°C - 30°C. Also, Norway enjoys longer and sunny days during summer. Sea temperature is usually around 18°C and higher. The eastern side of the southern mountains, including the coast between Mandal and Oslo, receives the warmest and most stable weather of the country. In the north, the weather is quite warm, as the temperature can sometimes exceed 25°C. However, Norway weather during summer can be wet and variable, especially in Fjord and Northern Norway. During winter, most of Norway is covered in snow. The lower inland regions can have temperatures lower than -40°C. Even though, the coastal areas have comparatively mild winters, heavy rain and clouds may occur frequently. |
